God's Special Children

i have so much to blog about but i'll start int he middlish. so Saturday morning some kids from our youth group. i think like 11 went to peoria landmark bowling to help with the special olypmics. it was os much fun. i was on lnaes 3 and 4 with about 6 wokrkers. we had 5 athletes. it was so fun. after that we went to this amazing chinese restaraunt called Mings. i hate chinese but loved it. well i guess that was all for that blog. well i'll go ahead and tell you about lake waubesa. i wasn't sure hwat i was going ot title this one either fear of the color purple or if you're talking you're wrong. i'll tell you about those two ral quick. we took 84 leadres and kids to lake waubesa which is in mc farland wisconsin. we had a great time. well nate our youth pastor like most doesnt' like the color purple. its ar ule we ahve. boys are blue and girls are red. if you'r too close you're purple. one of our younger leaders brandon haley is about 21ish. he helps out with our jr high progrma. whenever he or an adult is talking and kids are tlaking he says i fyou're talking right now you're wrong. and i love that. well we had an amazign time. it is soooo beuatiful out there. my fav part other than GOd time was the water slide. it runs right into the lake. hte first morning seemed like it was the coldest in the water but it ws actulaly the warmest we had the whole time down there. it was a whopping 47 degrees. the coldest was i went down at 11 ish a t night. it was seriously soo cold that while you're waking backt o land your feet are so numb you cna't even feel the rocks beneath you're feet. oh and we go down the slide on sleds so we go even faster.
