God's Special Children

i have so much to blog about but i'll start int he middlish. so Saturday morning some kids from our youth group. i think like 11 went to peoria landmark bowling to help with the special olypmics. it was os much fun. i was on lnaes 3 and 4 with about 6 wokrkers. we had 5 athletes. it was so fun. after that we went to this amazing chinese restaraunt called Mings. i hate chinese but loved it. well i guess that was all for that blog. well i'll go ahead and tell you about lake waubesa. i wasn't sure hwat i was going ot title this one either fear of the color purple or if you're talking you're wrong. i'll tell you about those two ral quick. we took 84 leadres and kids to lake waubesa which is in mc farland wisconsin. we had a great time. well nate our youth pastor like most doesnt' like the color purple. its ar ule we ahve. boys are blue and girls are red. if you'r too close you're purple. one of our younger leaders brandon haley is about 21ish. he helps out with our jr high progrma. whenever he or an adult is talking and kids are tlaking he says i fyou're talking right now you're wrong. and i love that. well we had an amazign time. it is soooo beuatiful out there. my fav part other than GOd time was the water slide. it runs right into the lake. hte first morning seemed like it was the coldest in the water but it ws actulaly the warmest we had the whole time down there. it was a whopping 47 degrees. the coldest was i went down at 11 ish a t night. it was seriously soo cold that while you're waking backt o land your feet are so numb you cna't even feel the rocks beneath you're feet. oh and we go down the slide on sleds so we go even faster.


so i got a letter form my dady today. iv'e been waitng for it. it was way cool. he says hes doing as good as he can. oh please pray for a boy iin our jr hgihg youth group. hsi naem is brandon haley-no relation to the leader. he is in 8th grade and they are pretty darn sure he has cnancer. they re still doing some tests. and if he does have cnacer its stage 2. poeple dioe at stage 3. please keep him in your prayers. hereare some lake waubesa pics. gggrrrr they won't com eup so you can go to www.fbcpekin.com click on sr high, then pictures, tehn lake waubesa pictures. they'll all com eup there.

the night before we left each house of kids did something for us at the despedita(good-bye). one house did a cute dance hten they came off the stage and tuaght us.

ok, so this past sunday night our praise and worship band performed for the youth group for the first itme. everyone said it was amazing(since we've only had 3 practices). we decided to do to songs. we did onecalled hungry, and one called all who are thirsty. we didnt' see the realtion, hungry adn thirsty, until we sang it.

Screaming Thru Tears

ok, i'm upset(some of you may call it jealousy) but i have been for a whwile, and now i'm gonn reveal it all. i'm sorry afrehand if my typing is bad. right now i'm on a laptop. any way here i go. i know htis is a prob i've has for a while buti read miss naomis blog hte other day and it was talking bout her trip wtht the teens and how she loves spending time with her four teen girls. yep not inthere. i've shared more with her htan almost nay other perosn. i feel like no one at bethel is even trying ot keep in contact with me. This next one id on't mean to sound snotty saying id din't get hte money. thats not the point. but i sent a spnsor letter for guatemala. i was a missionary , and the church didn't sponsor me. most the peeps i am closest to are int eh teen grouop. after Tony died evrybody went ahead and left for the trip for wherever. not even a card. i got a few srys' on lbog. (which i am htankful for) mr. mike stopped by bt he was only able to be there for a few minutes. mrs. cathy and dicky both came to the visitationtoo. after 8 years in the church and tony doing what he did for em i thot a lot more poeple would b there(not necesarily atthevisitation). but if theis happende to a family inthe church there woudl have been meals cards phone calls can i helpinany ways. any ways i'm thru. i see andrea and thats about it. and we odn't really talk. i totally feel replaced and that i lost my spot. which is ok. cuz now thru anger i accept all this. i still love evryone. i'm just crazy upset. you may all say this is just a phase, and it very well may be, but htis is how i really feel. i mean i eally do believe i wouldn't be where i am today or the wasy i was today /out that church or anyone there, but i ef and everyone forgot about hte girl who played during childrens offering. i just don't even want to see any one from there right now. this isn't all just b/c tony's funeral there have been other thing sthat have bothered me.
